Junaid Travel London, our journey in religious tourism has always been about more than just travel — it has been about reconnecting people with their faith, heritage, and soul. After years of successfully organising spiritual tours for other faith communities, we felt a deep calling to serve the Sikh community — to open a sacred path for our brothers and sisters to return to the birthplace of their faith.
Pakistan holds a deeply sacred place in Sikh history, being home to nearly 80% of all Sikh heritage sites worldwide. It is the land where Sikhism was born — at Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is also where Guru Nanak Dev Ji passed the Guruship to Guru Angad
Dev Ji, at Kartarpur Sahib, establishing the foundational lineage of Sikh spiritual leadership. The soil of Punjab carries the footprints of nine Sikh Gurus, making it a region of profound reverence and historical significance. For over 75 years, these sacred Gurdwaras have drawn Sikh pilgrims from across the globe — seeking to walk the same paths, whisper prayers where their Gurus once did, and reconnect with a powerful spiritual legacy.
Recognising this importance, the Government of Pakistan has made significant commitments to preserving and promoting Sikh religious heritage. The completion of the Kartarpur Corridor in 2019 stands as a historic milestone, offering direct access to pilgrims from India and other countries. Ongoing efforts to restore and maintain Gurdwaras, as well as the official recognition of Sikh festivals, reflect a growing dedication to supporting Sikh pilgrimage. These initiatives not only preserve heritage but also foster interfaith harmony and peace, welcoming the global Sikh community with open arms and a spirit of unity.
Now, with great honour and heartfelt intention, we extend our services to the Sikh community in the UK and beyond — opening a gateway back to the spiritual birthplace of Sikhism. After years of successfully serving other faith groups, we felt a profound calling:
“To walk alongside the Sangat on a journey back to where it all began.”
